CNN health department has an interesting article that will change your image for food trucks. The main topic of this article is "Are food trucks safe?"
According to this article, all foods truck on the road are licensed by the law. In order to make sure the condition of the food truck is qualified to sell foods, the local health department tracks them for inspection. The food trucks are required to post their latest inspection grade on the window. Therefore, you can check the grade by yourself.
If you still worry about the safety of food trucks, there are some red flags which you can check before you decide to purchase.
1)Dirty hands
Make sure employees wear gloves
2)Dangling hair
Make sure employees pull back their hair
3)Messy sink

I love food truck.
ReplyDeleteI recommend the "Tokyo Doggie Style" food truck.
They have good hot dogs.
Also, their TAKOYAKI is a must try!

Food trucks are just like restaurants...you can tell instinctively which ones keep up with hygiene, and which ones just look plain dirty...
ReplyDeletewhere are those food trucks? I rarely see any, I want to try :)
ReplyDeleteI like food truck and want to open one in my own. What is your topic about? Is it marketing for regular food truck or specific kind of food in a food truck? Good luck with your topic.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a good idea to generate more sales if you guys can participate the community events or games.
ReplyDeleteGreat article. To be honest, before I had my first "gourmet" food truck experience, I was under the impression that they were unhygienic and icky. A few years back a good friend of mine took me to go try them out and I was AMAZED and HOOKED. I have tried so many different ones and love love love them.
